No one can predict how bad something can get, but knowing that there is someone to help, brings a community and a country closer together. This is the mindset of the AfriForum Jeug of the North-West University Vaal Triangle Campus, NWU Vaal, (an Affiliated Society). They, along with 18 other AfriForum branches are helping such a community, by bringing the one thing we may sometimes bring for granted: water.
Around 40 000 people in the town of Senekal are currently without water due to a water crisis. They are asking all staff and students on Campus to help make a little easier for the community, by donating water. Bottled water in all shapes and sizes are most welcome; new or refilled, as long as the thought counts!
Any donations can be made to Mrs Karin Venter by Friday afternoon at building 14K. AfriForum Jeug NWU Vaal will then be delivering all the donations to Senekal on Saturday (7 May).
A little goes a long way, and a little water to a family can mean more than all the money in the world. Be the help you want to see in the country, and donate some water!
