Dear Student

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for voting in this year’s student leadership elections.  The level of maturity in which you conducted yourselves during this pivotal time of the year, is applaudable.

Please note the following logistical arrangements with regard to RAG on 3 September this year as per a meeting held between the CSRC and Mr Herman Steyn (Director of Finance):

The city’s JOC approval was not granted to host RAG at the RAG Farm in terms of timelines.    Because of the high level performers and the great interest in the event, it was decided to host RAG at the Flavius Mareka College Sports Field in Sasolburg this year.

Free transport will be provided to and from the venue (including from all off-campus residences).  A bus schedule in this regard will be published as soon as possible.

All agreed upon proceeds made during RAG will still be channelled to the campus and be directed toward assisting needy students.

I trust you will find this in order and that RAG will once again be a memorable part of your student experience.

Best regards

Prof. Linda du Plessis

Campus Rector (acting)
