The North-West University Vaal Triangle Campus (NWU Vaal) has shed its leaves and has rapidly transformed into a flourishing green landscape. Spring can be seen and felt in all the corners of our beautiful campus. The fresh atmosphere initiates renewed thoughts, passions and inspiration. The dreadful dryness of the winter has turned into blooming radiance.
The refreshed atmosphere on campus has evoked new liveliness throughout the students. Students everywhere are shedding their warm jackets in exchange for something more invigorating. Dresses, shorts, sandals and sunscreen are all swerving in harmony in order to articulate the recent escalation of temperate. Springtime usually evokes such ecstatic and passionate emotions mostly due to the radiant colours and floral picturesque settings in which we study and prevail socially.
“Spring is one of the most exciting seasons especially after the dreary winter. We get to wear colourful and comfortable clothing and everything becomes brighter and beautiful” – states Lisa Ngcongo a second year BA Communication student.
“During Spring it is as if the world regains its colour and warmth. Everything is bright and it initiates feel good vibes” –eloborates Lize-Marie Ferreira a third year Psychology and Sociology student.
Spring enables us as students to revive our thoughts and motivation in order to regain our perspectives regarding our studies. This season should empower us to continue our studies with rejuvenated eagerness and positivity.
