Campus serves motion due to student protest action

The North-West University, Vaal Triangle Campus (NWU Vaal) has served the Campus Student Representative Council (CSRC) with a Notice of Motion after the protest action that began on 21 September 2016.

Herewith a copy of the Notice of Motion which contains the intent of the NWU Vaal Campus to obtain an urgent court interdict to prevent any illegal protest actions, damage to property and, the intimidation of staff and non-protesting students on Campus. Management remains committed towards ensuring the safety and security of all members of the Campus community and that the core business of the Campus continue uninterrupted. Management supports continuous engagement with all students as communicated previously.
