The Management of the Vaal Triangle Campus would like to thank each and every member of the campus community for their patience with regards to the intensified security measures that have been implemented on our campus. As a result of these measures academic activities could continue uninterrupted for a second consecutive day.

Safety and security remains our top priority and therefore all stakeholders should take note of the following logistical arrangements:

  • Upon entering and exiting the campus you must present your NWU Vaal staff or student access card. Please make sure that you also have another form of visual identification at hand – such as your ID document, ID smartcard, driver’s license or your passport. The latter may be required in instances where access cards have been lost, are outdated or damaged.
  • Access to the Vaal Triangle Campus will only be granted to bona fide NWU Vaal students until further notice.

As a Campus we remain dedicated to a zero-tolerance approach with regards to disruptions or any illegal activities that may compromise our academic year. In light of this we ask your continued diligence when it comes to safety and security issues.

Campus Management would like wish all students well with their preparations for the final examinations.
