It has been a short and challenging semester; with tests and assignments getting the best of us; and we may end up getting participation marks that are not exactly what we want. But you have to pick yourself up and try to rebuild yourself with what’s important. As we embark on this journey of exams, may you not lean onto your own understanding and wisdom, but Christ’s (Proverbs 3:5). Good results don’t just appear on our academic records; it is rather our efforts and willingness to study (and our sleepless nights) that will bear testimony.
I don’t believe in this whole idea of studying the day before you write, because this shows poor planning and preparing. Instead I encourage you to invest on studying earlier, so that you may reap the benefits of your ‘sweat and tears’ through good results. I believe in the 5 P’s, which are:
- Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance
As much as you can invest time in your studying;expect good results from proper planning, because THIS will lead to good execution. But the minute you don’t plan for your studying, you will see the results in poor performance in your marks and exams. Passing with the average mark, or failing should be the last thing, we as students, want to encounter.
Ladies and gentlemen; for this examination period, I wish you nothing but the best challenge to yourself; to study and burn the midnight oil, and let the willingness to study within you blossom! Study, study, study, study!
Remember; be a lifelong learner; inspire others, before you expire (with your knowledge).
